Blessed Hope West

In the fall of 2008, Blessed Hope West was begun in Flat Rock, Illinois under the leadership of Rev. Russ and Alycia Shotwell. Combining youth outreach with a Christ-based recovery program and a food pantry outreach, the Shotwells have made inroads into the community and developed relationships with local churches.

The latest launch is the LifeLine Youth Group, based in Robinson. Fellowship/Activity time is at 4 p.m. every Sunday. Bible Study is at 7 p.m. every Wednesday. The group has a core of dedicated members and held a successful a ³Lock-in² for New Yearıs Eve.

Rev. Russ Shotwell shepherds both youth and adults, and is in charge of the Christ-based recovery program launching at Blessed Hope West. In addition, he has preaching and counseling duties as needed.

Rev. Alycia Shotwell partners with Russ on the Youth ministry and Recovery ministry, and handles the food outreach project for Blessed Hope West. She also is involved with counseling and preaching as needed.
